Sunny rays dance on my skin
Eyelids heavily emerging from dreams
Hazy vision and tousled hair
The gift of a new day as I breath in the air
My feet dance a shuffle across the floor
Yawn, brush, swish, splash, pat pat
Squinting at the sun's persistent greeting
A determined 'Rise and Shine Darling!'
Eyes a little more open to the arising world

Look for ways I can abundantly give
Fully awake, sipping tea, peaceful heart
